Nail Application Process
Here's the detailed step-by-step guide to nail application:
Tools You’ll Need:
- Nail file
- Nail buffer
- Cuticle pusher
- Nail glue or adhesive tabs (depends on how long you want them to stay)
- Alcohol wipes (or nail cleanser)
- Small scissors or clippers (optional for trimming tabs or nails)
Step 1: Prep Your Natural Nails
- Wash and dry your hands thoroughly.
- Use a cuticle pusher to gently push back your cuticles.
- Buff the surface of your nails lightly to remove any shine (helps the nails stick better).
- Wipe each nail with an alcohol wipe to clean off oils, dust, or moisture.
Step 2: Choose Sizes
- Find the press-on nail that best fits each natural nail. (Tip: If you’re between sizes, choose the smaller one and file the sides.)
Step 3: Apply Adhesive
- If using adhesive tabs:
➔ Stick the tab onto your natural nail.
➔ Press firmly and peel off the top film.
- If using glue:
➔ Add 1 drop of nail glue to your natural nail and 1 drop to the press-on.
➔ Spread evenly (don't use too much).
Step 4: Press and Hold
- Align the press-on nail just above your cuticle (but not touching the skin).
- Press down firmly for 15–30 seconds.
- Start from the center and press out toward the edges to remove any air bubbles.
Step 5: Finishing Touch
- File and shape the nails if needed for the perfect fit.
- Avoid water, oils, and heavy activity for at least 1 hour after application.
