Safe Removal of Nails
Tools You’ll Need:
- Bowl of warm water (optional: add a little soap or oil)
- Cuticle stick
-
Nail buffer or file
-
Acetone or nail polish remover (only if needed)
- Alcohol wipes
Step 1: Soak First
- Soak your hands in warm, soapy water for 10–15 minutes. (Tip: Add a few drops of cuticle oil for extra softness. It softens the adhesive, making removal much easier and gentler.)
Step 2: Gently Lift the Nail
-
Use a cuticle stick to gently slide under the edge of the press-on nail.
- Work slowly from side to side — do NOT rip or force it off.
- If you feel resistance, soak longer.
Step 3: Remove Adhesive Leftovers
-
After nails are off, buff away any leftover glue or adhesive tabs using a nail buffer.
-
Wipe your natural nails clean with an alcohol wipe.
